hmmm... :-) i guess you are right.. the barrenness did catch my attention.. this is in Andhra Pradesh.. and you can see better pictures of the land and some hillocks that look like Sphynx... and granite all scattered aroun you.. and vast barren land... in my POST ON Belum Caves...
ye means this.. haaal means situation.. but gathre? maybe i am not aware of this word or you have not used the right spelling to bring out the right sound. :-))
