Bengaluru (Bangalore) Airport Road

To get to Bangalore or Bengaluru International Airport (I don't know why they always refer to the Airports as International Airports when both International and Domestic Terminals exist side by side!!) from  Richmond Circle is via Cubbon Park- Vidhan Soudha, Mekhri Circle and then Straight. It is nearly 25-30 kms from the circle but 45 kms from outside Bangalore (Hosur Side). Here are some pictures during early morning & daytime. You can also see the Airport Terminal and road from the Airport in the night.

Bangalore, Bengaluru, India

Whatever people belonging to Chennai may say, it is nowhere compared to Bangalore- a beautiful city. Chennai on other hand is among the most dirty cities in India. Locals would like me to believe that Bangalore traffic is even worse, for eg, but while traffic at Bangalore is more than that of Chennai, the roads are much cleaner and there are footpaths for people and they are clean too. Not like Chennai where you find people on the roads and all dirt, debris, stones, and everything else on the road sides!! But look at Bangalore. [Sorry folks.. of Chennai.. ]

Mangalore, South India

A few views of Mangalore, a city in Karnataka, a state in South India more famous for its capital of Bangalore, the silicon valley of India. Mangalore is a small sea side city some 7 hours journey by road from Bangalore on the Arabian Sea and some 1 hour journey from Mumbai by air and some 400 kms from Goa. For more photos visit here.

This is the "Village" Family Restaurant at Mangalore- A quaint and serene food place- the interiors designed like a Village Hut complete with Rose Petals for Traditional Indian Welcome.

And here are some Local Houses and how they look... of course they have modern houses too but then who is interested in that?

You see a River and Local Houses and Coconut Trees and The Great Amabassador Car (The oldest Car in India... still running!!!! Gosh !! Can you believe it? )
