Tryst with History in Making- INDIA Against Corruption
We (means people like you, I, etc who are well educated, intelligent, aware of much and have excellent analytical abilities etc) have one problem: All this intelligence. We start thinking too much and then miss the evident:-
1. ...Just see this agitation as a pent up frustration that even you have. Nothing else. Frustration about everything that the Govt does not just Corruption but also lack of a honest leader;
2. In Anna people of India has found one such leader and the spontaneous followership that has happened (of course helped by massive awareness campaign naturally required in such a big country of people who are too busy ploughing through their day to day lives with little leisure time to thinl about the world) is proof of that.
3. They do not need to know everything about lokpal. They believe him and so what he is doing will help them. That is the faith. And frankly if the leader and his group is like this then why not?? Everyone do not need to break their heads on the nitty gritty do they? Nor are they capable of!
Asking and wondering about such question makes you lose sight of the reality. Reality is we are all frustrated. We do not have faith on anybody and hence even Anna Team.. so we doubt. But the people who are there I have seen myself yesterday are not from our backgrounds alone, larger numbers are from those who vote and from lower stratas of India.

Just look at 3 simple things:-
- For years after years NO Govt Has Really worked for the Interest of Common Man. [Common man does not have a religious identity or caste identity. All these are created by only those who do not want all these to end]
- For 65 years since Independence of India we have not seen ONE leader who is honest and selfless enough to be trusted to work for us. In ANNA we see one such leader for the first time. Of course he is not alone and he has a team working with him. But Masses look at only one Person as a leader. That is how Leaders are created.
- The long pent up frustrations need to be addressed. Govt of India has never attended to these feelings of Common Man. And now many will come and say Anna is not doing right holding Indian Parliament to Ransom. But do nor forget it is Govt who has not done it right by Never Listening to Common Man and forgetting them after every election. Do not question Anna. Question Govt why they have created Anna? Why have they landed up in this situation? Why have they come to this state of Affairs?
- Now there will be no going back It is the will of the People.
