Hey M.E, From now on you must suggest titles for my single Photos.. I am not that poetic / artistic--(which is why I get attracted to people like you!!)-- and I have scheduled some single photos to be posted on my blog to keep you all's interest alive! But am not able to give appropriate names! LOL!! taarey Paani Par! is Good! They are actually sunlight sparkling on the KODAI Lake!

No M.D. I am not travelling every day.. I have two 1-GB and 1-250 MB memory cards.. so you can guess how many pics I take depending on my tour's duration.. I do not have time to post all photos individually and so use slide.com's slideshow features.. but this time I have chosen some single photos to be posted on my blog on different days.. to keep my readers' (only a few like you!!!!!!) interest alive!!

I may have completed the travel earlier than the date of posting..But the photos are all chronological in nature which is why the photos of my Pitchavaram Mangrove Visit and Birds at Vedanthangal Bird Sanctuary will be visible only in April middle-end though I have already visited.

And of course I do have plans to visit Kerala and AP this year.. I am planning to go to Belume Caves this month...again alone [Alas!] Nobody else seems to be free like me!! 420 kms from here.. :-)

Hii Ree.. how are your studies going on? The spots are sunlight sparkling on the water.. time was around 1030 am.. :-)
This lake can be seen in my Kodai Lake Post

Anu- you are welcome.

News:- I was planning to go to Point Calimere Wild Life Sanctuary tomorrow (360 kms from Chennai) to see Flamingos and wild life but came to know due to heavy rains going on the roads are totally flooded.. so I guess I will have to wait till next season i.e. December..

This is really good stuff. I think this particular things happens more frequently during the mornings than at other times of the day. Something to do with the angles.

BTW have you ever seen the phosphorescence in sea during the night? I assure you they are awesome.

One more thing...is that you as a kid in the profile picture?

ShantanuDas said...

Yes Sujoy. it is me and I have also seen Phosphorence in sea in the night at Pondicherry and when I went to A&N by Ship... they are really mystical.... and you are correct about the angle aspect... !!
