In India they call it blue cow. it is an english translation literally. Do not know if english has a proper name. They may have a light bluish tinge in their neck or so.. my photo does not show it..nor have I ever noticed.. very tough to notice.. google and you may find. Like I said I just shoot pictures.. no time to do research on my subjects as of now!! :-0

The nilgai (Boselaphus tragocamelus), sometimes called nilgau, is an antelope, and is one of the most commonly seen wild animals of central and northern India and eastern Pakistan; it is also present in parts of southern Nepal. The mature males appear ox-like and are also known as blue bulls. The nilgai is the biggest Asian antelope.
